Shoot film, plant trees.
For every order placed, a tree will be planted. You shoot film, and you plant a tree… how awesome is that?
We are making our impact as a photo lab on the planet positive, recycling your single-use cameras, plastic, paper, and cardboard, safely disposing of chemical waste, planting trees, and funding solar plants + forest preservation efforts!

Gelatin Labs develops:
- 35mm, 120, Advantix, and other sizes by request.
- Color C-41, E-6, and Black+White film.
For most C-41 color negative film, we process your film in an all-new, state-of-the-art Colenta roller transport machine. With the most pristine color accuracy and archival wash stages, your film is in the best of hands.
For expired film and disposables, we use a well maintained Noritsu V-30 film processor.
Black+White is hand developed using special, secret chemistry (Kodak brand).
E-6 Color Positive slide film is developed using our handy Jobo ATL1000.
We use DNP commercial printers to make our amazing dye-sublimation prints.
Most customers send film in bubble mailers via USPS. Media Mail is the most affordable service and is applicable to photographic materials.
We always appreciate customer doodles, Polaroids, and artwork as well. We’ll feature it on our Instagram!

Gelatin Labs is putting creative control back into your hands. Our film scans will have a flexible tonal range, which means that highlights, midtones and shadows are preserved. This makes editing a breeze. We deliver large TIFF files by default, storing more color and tonal information from your negatives.
