What kind of film can you develop?+
Gelatin Labs develops: 35mm, 120, Disposables, and other sizes by request. Color C-41, E-6, ECN-2 and Black+White film.
What makes a Gelatin Labs scan so special?+
We put creative control back into your hands with our film scans. Choose the GelForm that most matches your vibe. For full editing capability, our Flat Earth scans offer a flexible tonal range. Pro and SuperPro levels deliver large TIFF files with more color and tonal information.
Do you return my negatives?+
Select "Return Shipping" at checkout to get negatives returned.
What equipment do you use?+
For most C-41, we use a state-of-the-art Colenta roller transport machine. Expired film and disposables go through Noritsu V-30 and V-50 processors. B&W is developed by hand or rotary processor using Ilford chemistry. E-6 uses the Dev.a. ECN-2 is developed by Kodak Lab Atlanta.
How do you recommend packaging film?+
Pack securely in a bubble mailer or box, addressed to: Gelatin Labs, 515 Valley St. Suite 160, Maplewood, NJ 07040. Need a mailing label? Add one to your cart. We always appreciate customer doodles, Polaroids, and artwork as well. We'll feature them on our Instagram!
