Your questions, answered.
Gelatin Labs develops:
- 35mm, 120, Disposables, and other sizes by request.
- Color C-41, E-6, ECN-2 and Black+White film.
We put creative control back into your hands with our film scans.
For those that want great scans out of the box, choose your desired Look and Feel while ordering, selecting between nine combinations of Tonality and Temperature.
For those who want full editing capability, our Flat Tonality scans offer a flexible tonal range, which means that your images’ highlights, midtones and shadows are preserved. As a part of our Pro and SuperPro Scan Levels, we deliver large TIFF files, storing more color and tonal information from your negatives.
Select “Return Shipping” at checkout to get negatives returned.
For most C-41 color negative film, we process your film in an all-new, state-of-the-art Colenta roller transport machine. With the most pristine color accuracy and archival wash stages, your film is in the best of hands.
For expired film and disposables, we use well maintained Noritsu V-30 and V-50 film processors.
Black+White is developed by hand or rotary processor (Dev.a) using Ilford chemistry.
E-6 slide film is developed using the Dev.a.
ECN-2 is developed by Kodak Lab Atlanta as a true ECN-2 chemical process.
We use commercial dye-sublimation printers to make archival prints. 4 inch x 6 inch prints available as an Add-On to film services.
Pack your film securely in a bubble mailer or box, addressed to:

It's a family affair.
A multigenerational story that starts and continues on the love of everything analog, forming the foundation for Gelatin Labs. Now processing film for photographers everywhere.
Your Film = New Forests
For every 6 rolls developed, 1 tree will be planted. You shoot film, and you plant a tree… how awesome is that?
Plus, our Mailing Label is carbon-neutral, and we’re recycling single-use cameras, plastic, paper, and cardboard, and safely disposing of chemical waste.
