Like most colour negative film it prefers a little overexposure to underexposure. Development and scanning are purchased separately.
Natural colour, every day.
Kodak Professional Ektacolor 400 is a high speed daylight balanced colour negative film, and in 35mm it works as a roll you actually keep loaded rather than one you save for perfect light. Rated at ISO 400.
The balance is the point. Saturation is vivid enough that colours feel alive, but contrast stays low, which keeps skin tones accurate and stops bright scenes from going harsh. Highlights roll off instead of clipping, and the results hold steady roll to roll.
At ISO 400 it handles most daylight and open shade handheld, which makes it a genuine general purpose colour film rather than a specialist one. Portraits, events, travel, and ordinary days. We process C-41 in house.
