At ISO 100 this film needs real daylight. Indoors or on grey days, reach for a 400 speed film instead. Development and scanning are purchased separately.
Bright days, clean colour.
Kodak Kodacolor 100 is an everyday colour negative film built for sunshine. Rated at ISO 100, it is the slowest of the affordable Kodak colour films, and that is exactly where its advantage lies.
Less speed means finer grain. Scans come out noticeably cleaner than a 400 speed consumer film, with colour that stays natural rather than pushing hard into warmth or saturation. Contrast is moderate and highlights behave themselves in strong sun.
The limitation is simple and worth respecting: it wants light. In good daylight it is genuinely lovely and costs very little. Indoors, in shade, or on a grey afternoon you will want a faster film. Load it for summer, holidays, beaches, and anything happening outdoors in the middle of the day.
